Hello! My name is Jennifer Bell, and am addicted to antiques, vintage, and all things thrift. I have previously worked at an antique store full time, and now I work in my family business, moonlighting as a vintage dealer on the weekends. I have a booth I run at a local antique mall, and I maintain a few different online selling platforms.
People always ask me, “Where do you find all of your cool stuff?” or the quick follow up “How do you know what to look for?”. It’s more of a loaded question than it seems. So I thought I’d write about it. The quick easy answer is just “experience”. I was first young and hungry for all things vintage and buying anything that I thought reminded me of something my grandmother would have, and I soon realized that just because it is old, doesn’t mean it will sell!
